We have even established two mobile specialty vendors, which are well received by the residents twice a week. Small conversations take place here, which make living together pleasant and interesting. The buildings are modern and some are equipped with a lift. There are benches, sandpits and even a settee with a chessboard and a checkers on the spacious, well-kept grounds. There is a football pitch for older children. The quiet residential area is only 3 bus stops away from Mescheden town center.

Many metal and plastics processing companies are based here. Manufacturers of lamps and luminaires from the region present themselves during the lighting week. Education and research are not neglected either. There is a university of applied sciences with research topics on wastewater treatment, sewage treatment plants and the environment, as well as a Fraunhofer Institute. Several initiatives, such as "Heimvorteil" or "urban Sauerland", aim to attract skilled workers to the region. And it is the wonderful nature, mountains and forests and the many sights, the extensive network of cycling and hiking trails that attract tourists.
